Week 6 - Set 6th May

Dear Children,

 

We hope you have had a brilliant weekend and you are ready for another week of learning.

 

Watch this space! We will be uploading something quite exciting to the school website in the next few days so make sure you keep checking this page as we wouldn't want you to miss it!  

 

Additionally, listed on the Task Overview Sheet (in the Writing section), you will notice that the first task mentions a prize - exciting! We hope that you have been enjoying your reading over the last few weeks and we want to hear your thoughts!

 

You are going to be writing a book review for Song of the Dolphin Boy (or an alternative book if you have not listened to the audio clips) and once you have finished and edited, you can ask your parents/carers to email us at closure@balksbury.org so that we can read your work and choose a winner of the prize. Please ask your parents/carers to write 'Year 6 Book Review' in the subject line so your email can be forwarded to the correct place. 

 

You have until this Friday, 8th May to submit your work. Good luck!
